NORMATEC
compression

revitalize your recovery

Designed to boost circulation, reduce muscle soreness, and improve flexibility, Normatec Compression Therapy is ideal for athletes and anyone seeking relief from everyday aches and pains.

What is Normatec Compression Therapy?

Normatec Compression Therapy uses dynamic air compression to apply controlled pressure to your legs, increasing blood flow and improving the efficiency of the venous system. At Revival, we proudly use the Normatec Pro recovery system—an advanced, patented technology that helps you warm up faster, recover more quickly, and feel fully revived.

The session involves wearing specialized leg sleeves that inflate and deflate in a pattern designed to mimic your body’s natural muscle pumping. This process helps remove toxins, improve circulation, and reduce internal pressure in the veins, aiding blood flow back toward the heart. It also triggers a “lymphatic flush,” which decreases swelling, reduces inflammation, and clears out cellular waste.

When you arrive for your Normatec Compression session, you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful environment designed for relaxation and recovery. Our Wellness Concierge will guide you through the process, helping you get comfortable as you slip into the compression sleeves. Sessions typically last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your needs.

Whether you're recovering from an intense workout—the technology’s ability to break up and flush out lactic acid helps reduce delayed onset muscle soreness—or simply looking to boost circulation, you'll leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the day

  • Are there size restrictions?
We appreciate that every body is different. Due to the manufacturer's options available to us, the compression session won't be right for every body type. We currently have the 'standard boot' for people with 28-34" inseam and thigh circumference less than 29". We'll be looking to add additional size options in the future.

    What do I wear?
You'll be getting squeezed so something cozy is best. Athleisure wear is best. Avoid jeans. Oh and bring a pair of socks.

    Are there any contraindications?
Not really. If you have any issues with your legs, please contact your doctor to make sure compression is a good idea. Also, if you're pregnant - many women use this technology to relieve swelling, but after the first trimester you'll want to check with your doctor. Additionally, active or known clotting concerns (DVT, thromboembolis, pulmonary embolism or peripheral vascular disease) or congestive heart failure are known contraindications.

    How long is the session?
You can choose between 30, 45 or 60-minute compression sessions.

Is this good for recovering from an injury?
It depends on the injury! If you have an active fracture or a torn muscle, Normatec may not be the best choice. However, if your goal is to reduce swelling and boost circulation, it could be a great option. While originally designed for fitness recovery, many have found Normatec helpful in supporting the healing process for certain injuries. The best part? You’re in control of the intensity during your session. We’ll start at a gentle level, and you can adjust it as needed—whether that means increasing or decreasing pressure. The general rule is: if it feels good, keep going; if it feels uncomfortable, reduce the intensity or stop the session
